Herzing University-New Orleans Receives Grant for Workforce Training Services

Herzing University announced on January 27, 2022, that it has received a three-year, $1.5 million federal grant to help improve the education, training and career support services for selected nursing and sterile processing program students in the New Orleans region.

Herzing University students in the Southeast Louisiana region could be eligible for assistance that helps pay for much of their tuition costs. 

Herzing University’s Online Programs Receive National Recognition

For the tenth consecutive year, U.S. News & World Report has ranked Herzing University’s online learning programs among the best in the nation.

Herzing’s online bachelor’s degree programs were included in the publication’s 2022 Best Online Bachelor’s Programs rankings. Herzing’s online Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program was also recognized as a leading online graduate program.

Herzing University Celebrates 2021 Graduating Class with Pinning Ceremony

The graduating class of 2021 nursing students was honored on January 7, 2022, with a pinning ceremony at the Georgia Pacific Auditorium. The ceremony, held in addition to the traditional graduation commencement, celebrates the achievements of Herzing graduates as they begin their nursing careers.

Renee Herzing Joins Higher Education Roundtable to Discuss Solutions to Workforce Challenges

As workforce shortages continue to run rampant across the country, Herzing University President Renee Herzing met with fellow representatives from Milwaukee’s higher education community for a roundtable discussion of the opportunities for and challenges to developing partnerships between educators and job creators.

Herzing University Teams with Children’s Wisconsin to Help Train Staff

Herzing University is successfully teaming up with Children’s Wisconsin Hospital to develop and push forward a medical assistant program to train Children’s employees looking to advance their careers. The program was featured in a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel story in November 2021.
