Atlanta Nursing Students Administer Vaccines in Fight against COVID-19

Herzing University’s Atlanta campus is once again helping the metro area fight the spread of COVID-19.

Last semester, Herzing-Atlanta Faculty Clinical Coordinator Arleen Revely arranged for BSN students to conduct coronavirus testing at the Clayton County Health Department. In 2021, Herzing students and faculty are volunteering at the health department provide coronavirus vaccinations at its clinics.

Herzing’s Jarvis Racine Promoted to Lead Strategic Partnerships; Jeff Hill Announced as Regional President-Wisconsin

Herzing University has announced the appointment of Jarvis Racine as its new Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, Workforce Development and Government Affairs, where he will nurture and build new relationships with stakeholders in areas where the school has campuses and across the country. Herzing also promoted Dr. Jeff Hill to Regional President-Wisconsin, and he will oversee all three campuses in the state – Brookfield, Madison and Kenosha.

Herzing Adjunct Faculty Member Recognized on List of “Madison’s Top Nurses"

Brittany Nesbit, who is an adjunct nursing faculty member at Herzing’s Madison campus, was recently included in a list of “Madison’s Top Nurses” for 2020 by Madison Magazine. Brittany is the recipient of an Innovation Award from the magazine for her work developing a drive-thru COVID-19 testing facility, leading a team of nurses and staff through the uncertainty and creating innovative solutions that streamlined the testing process.
