My college career has been a challenge! It was quite a wake-up call for me to go to college because I started later in life after being out of school for 25 years. But I was committed to doing well and earning my business degree.
Then, six months before I was to graduate, my college closed without any warning. They offered no guidance at all and I wasn’t sure what to do.
With some encouragement from my family, I researched my options and found a home at Herzing University. It was the only college that would accept all my previous credits, allowing me to graduate on time and with honors! Herzing welcomed me with open arms, answering all of my questions and making the transition smooth and uncomplicated.
Adjusting to online classes was somewhat challenging, but the instructors were very helpful and responsive. They would also make time to see me if I needed to talk or ask questions in person or by phone. Everyone was always willing to do a little extra to help make me feel at home.
Although my entire college education was not at Herzing University, this will be the school I speak fondly about for the rest of my life. I’ll always be thankful that Herzing took me in and helped make my dreams come true.
