While researching schools, I discovered that Herzing was a private school with a high graduation rate. It provided a small, intimate campus setting dedicated to helping students obtain employment after graduation, and I was instantly drawn in! I knew I wanted a career in healthcare administration because I wanted to drive the change that I want to see within healthcare, so I enrolled.
One challenge that I faced during my studies was prioritizing time for schoolwork. I overcame this by dedicating myself to completing my homework by Friday ahead of Sunday’s deadline. It’s always a good idea to stay ahead of your work.
One of the most valuable courses that I’ve taken at Herzing would have to be Professional Development. It prepared me for success in my career after completion. One thing that surprised me while earning my degree online was that online school can be much more challenging than in-person school. It was worth it but certainly harder than expected!
My advice would be to never give up no matter how many times you may fall.
