I’ve always wanted to help people, and that’s why I decided to attend classes in Medical Assisting. I came across Herzing during my search for schools and found that I liked what they had to offer, so I decided to apply.
Unfortunately, I got sick with COVID-19 while earning my degree. The symptoms lasted about three months, but I didn’t let it keep me down! I continued to push through this setback and ultimately found my success.
Whenever I had a question, my teachers reached out to me immediately through text, email or phone. They provided consistent attention, and that helped me stay on track during such a difficult time. I felt so much better knowing that they were always there for me, especially since I was scared at the beginning. I was doing something completely new to me, after all!
The best part about studying at Herzing was all the attention and help everyone provided.
Lynae McReynolds, a senior Admissions Advisor, was my guide and mentor. She was the one that helped me decide to choose Herzing. She provided me with excellent, professional and helpful information. Nashonda Williams from the Financial Aid department was incredibly helpful as well. I’d also like to give a quick shout-out to all of my teachers: they have been extraordinary and given me so many skills I will use in the future.
All in all, I’d say that I had the perfect team to help make my dreams come true every step of the way. I am very thankful for all the support and time they gave me. If you want to reach your goals and dreams, Herzing University has the perfect team to make it happen.
I’m a very insecure person when it comes to learning something new, but Herzing University helped me believe in myself. With the support of their staff and teachers, I have officially made my dreams come true, and you can too!
Now that I’m a grad, I am planning to work at a pediatrician's office. The future is looking bright!
