Medical coding has always been an interest of mine, so I decided to go for it and return to school to earn my degree. It was time to start a new chapter, and I decided to earn my Associate Degree in Medical Coding and Billing.
Everyone at Herzing was great to work with; the challenge was getting used to taking online classes. I overcame this by setting a schedule and making sure I had plenty of time to get my schoolwork done. It was certainly challenging balancing school, work and family life but the Herzing University staff were very helpful, and the professors were great. My classes helped prepare me for my career goals and were geared toward learning about everything that I need to know for a career in medical coding.
