Inspired by my parents, both holders of doctorates, I decided to follow in their footsteps and pursue a doctorate myself. However, to reach that goal, I first needed to attain my master's degree. This led me to Herzing and their Master’s in Healthcare Administration program.
My experience at Herzing was fantastic, and I always felt supported with the resources needed to stay focused. The teachers, particularly Dr. Mike, played a significant role. I want to express my gratitude to Dr. Mike for his challenging approach, which helped me succeed and acquire valuable knowledge for my career.
Supportive professors like Dr. Mike were crucial not only for academic reasons but also for the mental support I needed during a difficult time after losing my twin brother. Despite the challenges, I persevered with the help of the caring individuals at Herzing.
Among the various courses, the one that stood out the most was Marketing and Strategic Growth in Healthcare. It not only surprised me with its value but also made learning the material unexpectedly enjoyable. If I had to pinpoint the most valuable course, it would undoubtedly be this one, as it provided so many skills I can apply in my future career.
For those aspiring to earn their master’s degree, keeping an open mind is crucial. This program not only shapes you into a leader but equips you with the skills to make a real impact in the field. The journey is challenging, but the rewards make it all worthwhile!
Now that I've earned my master’s degree, my next step is pursuing a doctorate, and I can't wait to embark on this new chapter of my life.
