I knew that I wanted to begin my career in healthcare, but I didn't know where to start. I figured that studying in a Medical Billing and Coding program would be a good first step into the field, so I started to look for schools.
Herzing University offered the ability to make my schedule based on my schedule for work, and that’s what inspired me to choose them.
While going to school, one of the challenges that I faced was balancing working with my classes. Thankfully, Herzing allowed me to do everything at my own pace and complete my work whenever and wherever I wanted. My financial aid advisor also helped me throughout my education by doing everything in her power to help me stay on track.
With their support and my hard work, I made it onto either the President's or Dean's list for most of my education. I’m so proud of myself for that achievement!
I took all the information I gathered from my classes and externship site to help me prepare for my career. Herzing has helped me succeed and I can’t wait to see what’s next!
