My mother was a Medical Assistant, so I decided to follow in her footsteps and attend classes at Herzing.
Unfortunately, COVID-19 turned out to be quite a setback. During my clinicals, I had to take time off to take care of my daughter, who had caught the virus.
Thankfully, my teachers were very understanding about the situation and still helped me finish everything in time. My advisor and professors were very understanding of the situations I faced, and I want to say thank you for that.
I’m not sure what the future holds for me, but I’m thinking I may continue my education when possible!
