I came to Herzing to pursue an education that would lead to meaningful employment and provide a better life for my children. I’ve always had a long-standing interest in healthcare, so I chose to specialize in medical coding for an office job. Herzing is an excellent school for mothers looking to return to their studies; I was able to care for my boys while earning a degree in a field I love.
Thanks to the support I received, I graduated in less than a year with my diploma. Although I wasn’t tech-savvy, the instructors were always available to help whenever I had questions. They truly care about their students and make time to ensure we understand the material. Additionally, I frequently worked with a tutor through Knack, who was incredibly helpful.
My advice is to avoid procrastinating on your assignments, as the workload can pile up quickly and make it easy to fall behind. If you stay on top of your work, you'll do well.
I’m excited to continue my education by pursuing an associate degree from Herzing!
