When I was working as a registered nurse (RN), several patients told me that I should become a doctor. I did not want to go to medical school at my age, so I decided to advance my education and become a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
I live in a rural area, so Herzing University’s online FNP program was a great fit for me. Without having to commute to school in larger town, I was able to continue working as an RN and balance school, work and family.
Earning an MSN is hard work, but it is very rewarding when you are finished.
