I earned my bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Herzing University, and my experience there was nothing short of amazing. As someone who never settles for less, I knew that after obtaining my bachelor’s, I had to return for my master’s in business administration.
My biggest challenge was managing my time as a single mom of three while working 16-hour shifts as a correctional officer. Balancing school, work and motherhood was demanding, but with God's guidance and the power of prayer, I was able to succeed. The convenience of online classes and the open communication with my instructors made a significant difference. My career coaches were also incredibly supportive, always available to answer my questions and provide guidance.
