I originally found Herzing University through my work with the Department of Veterans Affairs. I was impressed with the services they offered to VA-funded students, and their MBA program was exactly what I wanted in a graduate program. I ultimately chose Human Resource Management because it complemented the experience I gained in the military and as a civil servant.
When COVID-19 officially started, I had some personal family issues arise. Thankfully, all my professors were professional, empathetic and always offered me some encouragement. Throughout the pandemic, my professors went out of their way to accommodate all the students in my classes. They all consistently exemplified the P.R.I.C.E. of success model and made me truly feel like I'm possible. As a Veteran, my tuition funding through the VA often presented me with unique challenges, and Missy Holschbach always went above and beyond to communicate with me. Thank you for that.
After graduation, I will be working in government compliance. I've had such an amazing experience at Herzing and can’t wait to start my future!
