Before starting at Herzing, I had already obtained a Bachelor's in Health Science and had been working in the healthcare field for 6 months. After this, I realized I wanted to take a different approach to my career path and pursue more of the business administration side. I wanted to make a difference one day in the business practices and operations of a healthcare clinic or hospital.
Herzing offered a promising education and supportive experience through their online programs. The MBA program fit my schedule perfectly. It allowed me to work my 40-hour week and still complete my assignments on my own time. I dealt with some significant deaths in my family, job changes, financial changes and personal family issues which weighed heavily on me and caused me to struggle. It was hard to stay focused, but I reminded myself of my goals.
Honestly, I felt that all my courses have had an equally significant impact on my career path. The courses added more value to my understanding and preparation for being successful in my career. The best advice I received is to focus on your time management skills. Always take your time and put forth your greatest effort in everything you do!
