I was drawn to Herzing University because of its intensive curriculum with didactic accompanying clinical rotations and extensive clinical requirements.
My clinical advisor Meghan Germana provided direction and was an excellent resource during my entire program. COVID-19 hit during my Women’s Health and my Pediatric rotations, which was a bit of a challenge to overcome. Thankfully, I utilized all my resources to ensure I completed both semesters and still managed to complete my program in a reasonable amount of time.
My advice for students is to ask a lot of meaningful questions. I have accepted a position in a specialty office, and I’m looking forward to learning and growing in my practice. I’ve always wanted to play a larger role in patient care and positive health outcomes and now I finally get to!
