I had an attorney who helped me tremendously, and that made me realize that I wanted to help others as well by doing something similar. I began to search for a school that was transfer credit friendly while allowing me to work quickly and at my own pace. It turned out that Herzing’s Online Campus fit my needs exactly.
Throughout my educational journey, time management was the most difficult challenge for me to overcome. I kept myself motivated by ensuring that I held myself to a schedule, completed personal goals each day and ensured my children were by my side along the way.
I learned a lot while I was a student at Herzing. My office management classes were extremely helpful, especially since I now work for an attorney who mostly works in family law. Hands down, my internship was the most important part of my journey. It allowed me to show what I knew and learned in my field while providing new experiences along the way.
Since graduating, I have continued to work at the same place I did during my internship -- they hired me as a permanent employee! All my hard work has certainly paid off.
