For as long as I could remember, nursing has been my calling. I’ve always wanted to help people in a job that changes day-to-day so things stay interesting. Herzing University helped me find just that by providing an opportunity to earn my BSN.
The pandemic caused some unique challenges I wasn’t originally anticipating. Virtual clinicals were very different from the traditional experience, but I learned a lot from them once I got adjusted. Although I was apprehensive at first, I left them feeling well-prepared!
Now that I have my degree, I’m focusing on my career. In fact, I already have a job set up for the ICU at Mercy Hospital as well as another offer for the neuroscience unit in the UW nurse residency program after graduation. I can’t wait to see where the future takes me.
