I originally came to Herzing so that I could get my degree in Medical Assisting. After a few classes, however, I decided to change my degree to Medical Office Administration. This was such a good decision, and I know that my new degree will help both me and my family.
My teachers were amazing. During the last couple of weeks of the semester, we went through the Coronavirus pandemic, but the teachers were so patient and understanding. Their encouragement and caring really helped me complete my degree during such a trying time.
After graduation, I was offered a job as a Medical Office Administrator at a local hospital. My advice for students is to make sure your degree is 100% what you want to do in life. Don’t be afraid to pursue your passion, and don’t be afraid to make a change if you need to!
