I was surprised at how quickly Herzing University called me after I had applied to study here. This made me happy, as I was highly interested in attending a school with accelerated pathways. Not only was I able to apply quickly, but I even finished my program four months ahead of schedule!
Unfortunately, I did encounter several setbacks while completing my degree. If there’s anything I’ve learned though, it’s that you figure out how to roll with the challenges that come your way. For example, I had a tough time locating clinical placements, but Herzing worked with me so that I could use the same doctor multiple times to get my hours. That was super helpful, and it kept me on track to finish my program!
Once I graduate, I’m planning on working with the very same doctor that I learned with for clinical rotations. I love how well this all worked out and am excited to get to work!
