I first attended Herzing University for my associate in nursing (ASN) degree. Even though it was a hard program, I found the support I needed to finish. When I called about the bachelor’s in nursing (BSN) program, I was greeted with so much positivity that I decided to re-enroll.
I became pregnant while I was in the BSN program, and Herzing allowed me to take a semester off before the birth of my child. Herzing helped me complete my studies in a reasonable amount of time by preparing a realistic schedule that still allowed me to work and take care of my newborn.
My goal after graduation is to advance my nursing career. I would love to work in case management or anything related to nursing management. It takes a lot of hard work to become a good nurse, but it is a field that offers lots of opportunity.
