Chasity Back
I knew from a young age that I wanted to be a nurse. One of my colleagues recommended Herzing University to me, and I decided to give it a try. I toured the campus and loved how small it was and how small the classes were. At Herzing, I knew I would be more than just a number.
After having kids and trying to start school three times, I have finally finished my degree. The staff and faculty at Herzing were so good to me and they had empathy for me. Without their support and the support of my cohort peers, I wouldn’t have been able to push through.
I will be continuing my education in the BSN program at Herzing. I was offered many positions before even finishing school and accepted a position with a very well-known hospital chain in Ohio.
I love Herzing and I am so honored to be an alum. My advice is to not let your challenges stop you. Push through, even when it seems like there is no hope. If I could get through this with all of the challenges that I faced, then anyone can do it if they are determined.
