My kids inspired me to attend Herzing University. I am a single mom of a 4-year-old and 12-year-old and I realized that I needed to find a career that would allow me to support them. When I came across Herzing University, I was impressed by the variety of program options as well as how quickly I could complete my degree. Herzing allowed me to still spend time with my kids and earn my degree without creating extra stress.
Everyone at Herzing wants you to succeed and do your best. All of my teachers were supportive and helpful and my academic advisors assisted me throughout my educational journey. If there was ever anything that I didn’t understand, my teachers were available to help me in every way possible until I understood.
My favorite class was Anatomy and Physiology because it was the most hands-on experience I have ever received from an online class. Herzing’s healthcare courses incorporate resources for different learning styles, such as simulations, card games and memory games that help you retain information.
Herzing’s P.R.I.C.E of Success model also helped me to remain focused, confident and motivated to submit superior quality work. I know it will help me achieve my goals outside the classroom as well. When people ask me about my experience at Herzing, I tell them that if you invest time in your education, you will succeed.
