EMT certificate program classes & curriculum
Our 4-month certificate option features two classes combining both theoretical and practical learning introducing you to key concepts in pre-hospital emergency care.
Both classes are delivered at our campus in Birmingham, Alabama. The program includes 45 hours of field experience to help prepare you to work as a full-time EMT.

Prerequisites to enroll in the Herzing University EMT certificate program include:
- Completion of a U.S. high school diploma, GED or equivalent
