When I enrolled in Herzing’s Medical Assisting program, I knew I wanted an actual career instead of just working another job. I chose this program so that I could work in a clinical role rather than something administrative. Eventually, my goal is to become an RN, but I want to take baby steps to get there.
My family motivated me the most to enroll and complete my education. Unfortunately, COVID-19 hit while I was attending, which made it difficult to find my externship. I was about to give up since I couldn’t locate one, but that’s when my instructors came to my aid. I’m forever grateful to them all for everything they’ve done. Every course I took was valuable to my experience and prepared me for my future career.
My advice to other students? Never give up on your dreams and keep pushing! Nothing is too hard for you to achieve as long as you put your mind to it!
