Herzing University offered a simple approach to quality education: it was what I needed, up-to-date, financially reasonable and pro-veteran. These were all great benefits, so I decided to attend classes.
Ultimately, my goal with this degree was to address the lack of mental health providers for veterans. I can’t wait to help my local community!
My core psychiatric classes gave me the experience I needed most, and I’m excited to apply what I learned. Clinical rotations also provided me with valuable hands-on experience as well. I learned so much while at Herzing!
While I still need to pass my boards, I already have a tentative job offer that I plan on following up with after graduation. Wish me luck!
