I wanted a place where I knew I could get the education I needed even if I couldn't attend a physical campus. After doing some research, I realized that Herzing’s online campus was right for me. I always knew I wanted to get into the medical field. Going to school for Medical Assisting was my first step toward achieving that goal. Herzing accepted my transfer credits, which helped me complete my program quickly. I was able to earn my Associate Degree and Graduate Degree within a year and a half!
All my professors and advisors were a big help during my educational journey. I initially had trouble with Anatomy and Physiology, but the tutoring center helped me. They explained terms and went over some assignments with me. Although I knew some things coming into the program, there was always something new to learn. I learned so much, and believe all my courses were beneficial to my career!
I am hoping to gain more experience working as a Medical Assistant before I continue going back to school. I’m excited to see where this journey takes me!
