Herzing Kenosha Nursing Students Team up with Air One Coalition
Nursing students at Herzing University's Kenosha campus recently had the privilege to learn about trauma and rescue services from Air One Emergency Response Coalition providers. The lab offers students an important perspective on EMS services in the Kenosha area.
The Air One Coalition began when a private citizen allowed local rescue services to borrow a helicopter to help find a missing child. Over time, Air One expanded into a nonprofit, dedicated to handling a wide range of trauma and natural disaster scenarios. The organization is managed and staffed by volunteer professionals with backgrounds in aviation, law enforcement, emergency management and fire rescue.
